An ECC83 preamp tube, a 6L6 power tube, and a 12-inch Celestion Seventy-80 speaker supply a bright, glassy feel when played clean. On the overdrive end, the TV-10 A boasts smooth compression-rich saturation when you push the amp’s front end using the Drive voicing, Master volume knob, and Gain control. Precisely crafted by referencing the sound of vintage reverb units, the TV-10 A’s digital reverb circuit breathes space and dimension into your signal with the turn of a knob. Most impressive are the features that are rarely found on a tube amp of this size, including a post-power-amp speaker-emulated line output and a built-in effects loop to optimize the sound of your pedals. The Blackstar TV-10 A is loaded with a 6L6 power tube. Prized for its fat, round low end and bright clean tones, the 6L6 epitomizes American amplifier tone. This tube is also extremely versatile, performing as well for clean jazz as it does for hot lead tones. Thanks to its 6L6 power tube, the TV-10 A delivers a wide range of vintage tones, all pumped through a Celestion Seventy-80 speaker for defined, controlled lows and punchy, aggressive mids.
